I think its been left to the Carhienin to decide, with the knowledge that Rand can pop up any time and that he supports Elayne.

Galad is indeed a better choice and I think that's how it's gonna be.


I realize that the WT has bigger fish to fry right now than who should be Steward/King of Cairhien, but Galad's association with the Whitecloaks pretty much disqualifies him from holding that office, at least in the eyes of the Tower.
