The rule is that an AS isn't BA (only around 20 % are BA). Therefore, if we have no evidence that Alanna is BA - and you apparently agree that Verin's warning can interpreted either way -most likely she isn't BA, especially considering that Egwene also didn't mention her on her first reading of Verin's notes.
I agree that her warning can be interpreted in many ways, and that it's likely Egwene would have grabbed onto her name, but it could also be a continuity error on BS's part...
I think there is a good chance that she is BA, but it's by no means certain... she's involved in too many shady situations for my tastes.
