It might have showed Mat any experiences his ancestors had with the Aiel...

Does everyone experience the same POV's in this Ter'Angrael?
Is it like a recording to be played over and over, or does everyone who enters it see certain events through their own ancestors eyes.
For example, had Mat decided to follow Rand through it, would he have seen the origins of the Aiel or would he have seen bits and pieces from his own ancestors, back through Emonds Field and Mantheren?

If this happened, then why did Rand not see Ishara and the founding of Andor as well? I think it has to be focssed on the Aiel.

Mat wouldn't have seen anything. Rand did not see any Andoran memories only Aiel ones. *NM*
