Graendal knew Rand would immediately BF her palace and knew (very nearly, at least), the exact moment he would BF so that her Compulsion web would be unraveled. And not just unraveled, but completely reversed!

All she would have to do is set the compulsion to unravel/dissipate after it has been delved. That way after Rand's attacked and Nyneave checks the compulsion will be gone.
I'm not saying that's what happened, but it would be an easy and believable way for Sanderson to explain an escape by her.
Ramshalan wouldn't be normal again, but instead an even more idiotic version of himself.

We're going to see Graendal's plan in ToM, including her interaction with Ramshalan.

She'd have had to ask the right questions to get the right answers.
