I think Semirhage about sums it up in the KoD prologue... Legolas Send a noteboard - 10/12/2009 12:53:25 AM
I just finished reading tGH and came across where the Aes Sedai who created the first adam was leashed by the early Seanchan and that her screams shook the towers of Midnight... Does this mean that we might see scenes on the Seanchan Mainland? Either way, there should be major parts involving the Seanchan in the next book... I cant wait

when she tells Suroth that the Seanchan Empire is a gigantic mess with everybody fighting everybody after her murdering the Empress, and that Suroth's empire will have to be carved out on the main continent instead. The Seanchan mainland should be done with for the rest of the series, the characters on both the good and the bad side have better things to do than get involved in that mess now. But yeah, I agree that the Seanchans will play an important role in the book, and it's likely that we'll learn more about the whole damane thing and its role in Seanchan culture, possibly also about the towers of Midnight themselves.
