Nicely thought out and very plausible. Verin's hints and the idea that no one really understands what the DO is up to could support this theory. If you imagine the Randland universe as being held up/ bound together ect. by the balance of order and chaos then the driving force behind chaos being destroyed would surley destroy everything else.

We also don't know how the DO feels about being bound outside of creation...Could non existence be preferable to where he/it is now?
