The Seanchan need to revise their worldview. RugbyPlayingAshaman Send a noteboard - 14/12/2009 06:47:22 PM
I think there will be no peace while the damane system is in place, and the a'dam must be destroyed.

I am also of the belief that Egwene's mission during Tarmon Gaidon will be keeping the Seanchan off of Rand's back.

I'm not quite sure how we'll get there.

I hope that it involves Tuon losing control of her channeling ability, needing to be collared, and learning a lesson in humanity that allows her to make the leap that damane are human beings, and they should have a choice and minds of their own. I'm of the opinion that her time channeling as a sul'dam has brought her to the brink - it doesn't take long to draw out the ability to channel, and I think most sul'dam are right on the border because of the forced Link that the a'dam forges.

Perhaps she'll start displaying channeling sickness, need Mat to take her to the Tower since his necklace protects him from her out of control weaving, and make her peace with the Aes Sedai that way.

Perhaps Egeanin will convince Tuon that all channelers need to attend the White Tower to learn to control their powers before deciding how they would use their skills for society.
