Re: Learning traveling will help the Seanchan, but the AS still have the advantage.

Traveling was a great tactical advantage for the AS, but everyone knew the Seanchan would eventually learn it. But there's a simple reason why the Aes Sedai still have a huge tactical advantage over the Seanchan: AES SEDAI CAN LINK, THE SEANCHAN CANNOT.
This isn't such a great advantage, because they can set hundreds of damane to open gateways simultanously. Rand employs this tactic all the time with his Ash'aman, who also can't link, and he still manages to move large armies around very quickly.
Moreover, the Aes Sedai are hampered by the Three Oaths. They can't use force against those who only try to capture them, rather than kill. Even Egwene will probably not be able to fight in the same way again, having since taken the Oaths. I suppose they can let the soldiers do the fighting and provide a shield against damane attacks only, but even this stretches the oaths, if the Seanchan take care not to threaten the Aes Sedai's life.
Linking can however come handy in defense, as Egwene demonstrated - if all Aes Sedai and novices link, the Seanchan can't shield any of them, so will not be able to capture any more, except by the occasional isolated one.
Learning traveling will help the Seanchan, but the AS still have the advantage.

They were losing at Dumai's Wells. That's why they had to tie off Rand's shield

No, the superpower is the "atomic bomb-like" weapon at the Kin's farm that melted sand.

I can't compete with deathgates to outer space, but damane can be rehabilitated.

So can soldiers. Lots of Taraboners, Altarans, etc in Seanchan army.

Oh, yes. Because damane NEVER fight soldiers, and would thus ignore them.

Rand's campaign lasted more than a week. The AS could move the entire army in 5 minutes.
