RJ's blog 10 December 2005 "THIS AND THAT"

- Nynaeve could Travel after depositing Lan in Saldaea because she had “learned” that spot by Traveling to it. Remember, if someone Travels to a place, they now know the place they have Traveled to as well as if they had spent time there learning it.

and:

East of the Sun Con, Stockholm, Sweden June 1995 - Karl-Johan Norén reporting

On the Asha'man finding Rand in Lord of Chaos, he said that they knew where Rand was. How they did know he began with the following words: "Mazrim Taim is a paranoid S.O.B." [exact quote!]. When finding out of the disappearance of Rand, and a large bunch of Aiel from Cairhien, he followed the route from Cairhien towards Tar Valon by Traveling, until he encountered Elaida's Aes Sedai. From there, he brought in the Asha'man.

I know RJ said somewhere that Taim and the Asha'man made short jumps while searching for Rand, but I can't find it at the moment.
Where once was Shadow
Now reigns Light
Darkness fades
Into the Night

I made the switch!
