I don't think the.... Great Lord of Chaos Send a noteboard - 22/12/2009 02:36:29 AM
The pattern weaves human lives, not the "lives" of brick and mortar. I was thinking it was a loop for those lives in that area, a bubble of evil. With the DO making the pattern a mess, the Pattern shifted, and the threads of those people in that village were looped around and choked. The thread goes round and round, and they can't die.

Like:
Normal Life..........loop.
_______________________()
That loop is there, and pretend that the bottom is part of the thread. It goes in a circular motion. It is akin to a snag. Think of a roller coaster. At first, it is smooth, and straight. Then, construction people (DO) make the roller coaster go loopy. Then, the DO messing with the pattern makes it shift slightly, making the rails on the loop at the bottom attach, making one go in circles.

I don't know if I'm clear or not...

Is that every previous example of a bubble of evil we've seen in the series has been a quick event that had a distinct beginning and end. This event has been going on for months, they said. A months long bubble of evil just doesn't make sense.

Actual event of the repetition is a bubble of evil. I think a bubble of evil caused a chain reaction with the pattern, as it it more unstable as TG approaches.

Why would a bubble of evil cause that chain reaction? - 22/12/2009 03:04:32 AM 636 Views
The Pattern didn't cause it - 22/12/2009 04:32:48 PM 528 Views

The Dark One's touch in this case, doesn't seem to be a bubble of evil - 22/12/2009 09:10:51 PM 514 Views

Singer from Creed = Scott Stapp. Delay = hinder (approximately equal, anyway). *NM* - 22/12/2009 09:13:39 PM 310 Views
