more like a touch hypocritical, but since she accepted her part in the blame I'm not sure that works either.
Certainly a little bitchy though!

I actually considered for some time, what word I should use and finally chose deceitful, though I agree that this word doesn't fit 100 % with what I really want to express. It's certainly clever from her, but somehow still seems a bit false to me that this insight suddenly comes from Egwene when it's convenient for.
As I already suggested in the past, I also believe that Egwene will argue that the Law of War shall remain, since the WT is still in war with the Shadow (and with the Seanchan), thus giving her more power.
Was Egwene wrong to berate both Halls after the reunification?

I didn't expect it, but it was absolutely the right thing for her to do.

If the berating sucked, I would have complained. But it was pretty good to hear/read. *NM*

Reasonable in terms of power politics, but still somewhat deceitful.

I'm not sure deceitful is the right word for the circumstances

It was a political move. It was the right political move, but not "morally" right.

It was very clear where her sympathies lie. A lot of it was superficial.

She didn't mention/berate the 300+ AS who ignored this whole facade of a plotline.
