It's time for the 2010 Wheel of Time awards. You'll have until 14 January to place your nominations in this post, at which time I'll compile a list and make the final nomination list. After that it will be time to vote.

7. Most heartbreaking scene in the series
There really aren't "heartbreaking" scenes... Some sad ones:
1. When Moiraine goes to battle Lanfear, knowing she is going to kill herself in the process (and the subsequent letter to Rand).
2. When Rand blew Narishma off to be a polygamist. (oh wait...)
3. When the Aiel are being slaughtered at Dumai's well with the "splurt" weave.
8. Your favourite culture in the series
I'm honestly not that attached to any of them. If I did have to choose one, however, it would be the Aiel. The Aiel seem the least corrupt of all of the options.
9. Your favourite insignificant character in the series
1. Flinn (I really wish he could patch up Siuan and Leane...)
2. Birgitte (as best supporting actress)
3. Daigan, because she is one of the only Aes Sedai we've seen that is not arrogant.
The Gathering Storm
10. Favourite scene
Egwene blasting To'Raken out of the sky in a blazing fury of retribution. The visual that comes to mind with this is when Queen Elizabeth (Cate Blanchett) is standing on the cliffs, in pure white, watching the Spanish Armada burning in the distance with justice on her face. (This is from the movie, obviously)
11. Favourite character
1. Aviendha-- why did she not have a bigger storyline?? seriously.
2. Egwene-- I know, I know, I should hate her like everyone else. I am just glad the storyline is resolved, and she will be able to hone the Aes Sedai into a task force (hopefully).
12. Most irritating character
Why must Tuon be so irritatingly stupid and willingly ignorant?!
13. Best plot resolution for you
1. Elaida
2. Rand's sanity being restored (but this is yet to be seen)
3. Egwene
14. Brandon Sanderson was spot on with which characters
15. Characters that differed the most with RJ and Brandon
1-100. Mat
101. Nynaeve did seem like she had regressed a bit personality-wise.
16. Biggest disappointment in the book
1. Graendal
2. Rand getting access to the True Power
3. Cadsuane manipulating even more than before, which I didn't think possible.
17. Character you wished to see but who didn't show up much
1. Graendal (I want her side of the palace attack)

Hopper Sedai. I absolutely burst out laughing at his description of TAR.

There are too many to mention. Honestly, people, some of the theories you all suggest "might happen" are preposterous, irrational situations that only an amateur writing for the Sci-Fi channel would come up with.
28. Your favourite fight on the board
1. The one about Egwene, Elayne, and Aviendha being nearly as strong as the Forsaken
2. The fight concerning Moghedien being able to kill Egwene without anyone noticing...oh Darius_Sedai...how stubbornly unrelenting you are.
