If I'm remembering correctly (which is doubtful in this circumstance), doesn't cuendillar decrease the amount of OP available? I seem to remember (though this memory is dubious) that cuendillar gets its strength by having the OP flow through it, and because the OP is limited, it thereby 'decreases' the amount of the OP available in the world?
I'm pretty sure this wasn't in the books, but I vaguely recall RJ saying something along those lines ... I think
