Indeed Rand will not surpass LTT. Even with his current strength in the OP he'd probably have a hard time beating Ishamael/Moridin. The same would probably apply with Demandred.

Remember that creepy "I'll rip your soul out" thing Ishamel attempted to do to Rand in Tear. Rand would never have won without Callandor unless Ishamael screwed up big time.
