I'm not exactly sure what you mean... Gher Send a noteboard - 24/01/2010 09:47:20 PM
Plus I think channelling through a gateway (eg to create cuendillar) is impossible. Even if you had someone creating it on each side, the two halves would not join.

That said, I see no advantage between this and simply tying of the weave, even if it worked.

Cuendillar can pass through a gateway, as far as we know. It can't be cut by a gateway, it is pushed out of the way. If someone opened up a gateway, and the shoved a cuendillar doorframe inside of it in such a way that it was unable to close because the doorway keeps it open, then those doorways could be placed in rooms and other places. Tying it off would probably work as well, although the advantage of the doorway is if you brushed up against the edge, you wouldn't get cut.

You can channel through a gateway. After leaving the Kin's Farm in PoD (I think) after the Bowl of the Winds, Avi throws fireballs through the gateway at attacking Seanchan.

Because even if it wasn't tied off, it'd get stuck around the cuendillar doorway, unable to close. *NM* - 22/01/2010 09:07:34 PM 285 Views
