That was my first impression.


I orginally thought that my first quote was Dragonmount but when Etzel noted that it was SG, I read further and the second mountain that Rand comes upon does sound more like Dragonmount with the river, island and city surronded by gleaming walls (Tar Valon).


Exactly. The mountain going up among vapors is definitely SG and the desolate valley it stands in.

Logically, LTT couldn't recall Dragonmount either - he died creating it, he never saw it.
