isn't it on the location where Collam Daan used to be? If I remember correctly, Mierin and her team drilled a hole in the Pattern (creating the Bore) within the floating sphere of the univeristy. When the Bore was made, black energy erupted from the sphere. So Shayol Ghul could be where V'saine used to be.
