In New Spring, Moiraine only gave Cadsuane the appearance of complying with her orders. She did leave in the middle of the night, but only after she made sure to stay long enough until Cadsuane checked her room that night. IIRC, Cadsuane had threatened to do some bad thing to her if she ever left.
It would certainly be interesting to see, given Cadsuane's cameo in NS. Of course, Moiraine is older and more mature now, so Cadsuane might not be able to intimidate her as easily. However, I doubt Moiraine will faze Cadsuane much. Cadsuane already blames her (somewhat justified too) for some of the problems Rand has with AS. I don't think Cadsuane is still holding a grudge over it, but she may still view Moiraine as reckless. Then again, given Moiraine's accomplishments so far, Cadsuane might have some respect for her, as Cadsuane has always been a loose cannon herself.
what if Moiraine confronted Cadsuane...
