A) Asmo could only channel a trickle.


Asmo was almost as strong as an average WO. More than strong enough to stop anyone who can't channel, as evidenced when Bashere throws a knife at Rand and Rand catches it with Air, in LoC.

B) Asmo was suprised and died almost instantly. Noone coud react that fast if they didn't know they were in danger.


All of the Forsaken's reaction times are quite fast when it comes to channeling, likely because thye have done it for centuries. One of the best examples is Moggy shielding Liandrin earlier in tFoH. Even weakened from Healing and with her back turned she is able to shield Liandrin with ease. In fact she is so fast that the other two BA in the room aren't aware of what happened.

So the killer could easily be a non-channeller.


So I don't see any way for the killer to be a non-channeler, unless Asmo walked through a stedding on his way to find the pantry.
