In keeping up to date on this topic on Dragonmount, i came across a reply that made me wonder whether the Big Unnoticed Thing is that the seals are already, and have been, broken.

I mean, why should the seals be working if they physically no longer carry the attributes of cuendillar? wasnt it originally important that they be made of cuendillar? since they dont act like cuendillar, shouldnt the seals no longer work, regardless of whether they are technically whole?
