I just think the focus should have been the Aes Sedai and the Ashaman, and that the wolves and Perrin weaken the overall graphical depiction of the main action in this book, which was largely about the Tower and Aes Sedai being humbled and the ascendancy of the Ashaman.
Except that Perrin coming in for the rescue is a major point of this battle. The Aes Sedai swearing fealty is a sweet part but imho less important to the storyline.

I didn't really like it the first time I saw it posted here, and am more 'meh' on it.

But Perrin's part in the battle wasn't the point.

I disagree, and think you need to look at the greater impact on the storyline.
