13 mydraal and 13 dreadlors and they can turn anyone who can channel to the dark side. This has been mentioned so many times in the series that it has got to happen (or at least an attempt) in my opinion. My questions is a three parter: 1. do you think it will happen or at least in attempt 2. if so, who and 3. will it be successful?
Q: Have any characters we’ve seen been converted to the Shadow via the 13 Myrddraal/13 channelers method? Has this method been used at the Black Tower?
A: RAFO (wow the first question and I got RAFO’d). But he did go on to say that this is a ‘gun on the mantle’, which refers to an old saying that ‘when you put a gun on the mantle in the first act, it needs to be used by the third’.
At least the Shadow might try it with a character, or maybe it will be revealed that it was already done it with someone (Taim? his cronies?). I think the Shadow might attempt to turn Egwene, Elayne or maybe Tuon, but in the end fail.
