I'd be surprised if we find out it hasn't been used yet. It's been out there so long, there is bound to be a good loyal friend of the superboys or -girls who we find out has been turned some time ago.

I hope it'll be a big scene. Something along the lines of "You come with me, don't cry, it doesn't hurt after you've been turned. Much. I know, as that is who it happened to me."

Only then better written...
