I think it will be at least attempted,and possibly happen.

The shadow already tried to kidnap he...why? She could have been killed when she was captured.

Obviously the shadow knows she is close to Rand, what better way to mess with him?

And here is a cool question (at least to me) --- what happens to her unborn babies if she is turned while pregnant?
