I went to a BS signing last night, and I think I'm going to attend every fantasy/sci fi signing now - Edit 1

ever. from now on. even if I don't know the author.
Because I went to one last night, the only book signing/convention/thingie I've ever been to, and a good portion of the people there were nerdier than I am, so now I feel normal in my nerdiness.
I didn't talk about the author's wife using her real name like I knew her.
I didn't wear a shirt with dragons embroidered on it.
I didn't wear a black top hat.
I didn't write a letter to Harriet to say that she looks good in hats and not to take it for granted, and then give Brandon Sanderson a book I know he wants in exchange for delivering it to her next week at Jordancon. I didn't write in the letter than there should be a 40 foot tall animatronic statue of Verin in front of the white tower that spouts water out of her pen and says Verin quotes when you push a button, like "Interesting." and "My, this tea is good."
I didn't ask the author who would win in a duel between the main characters of his 3 books.
Ok, I lied about one of those things.
Anyway, didn't learn anything new. He still thinks the prequels won't be written, and his new book The Way of Kings was edited by Harriet.
