so, I was on the way into the bookstore, and realized I probably shouldn't just walk in with a book in my hand. It was the one I was going to give to Brandon. But I didn't want to buy it again. So I rummaged through my car and the only bag/contrainer I could find was one with a Christmas tree on it. Then about 2 hours later I remembered that he's Mormon and it would have be even stranger to give him a Christmas tree bag than I had originally thought, so I left it on a table in the store 
I went to a BS signing last night, and I think I'm going to attend every fantasy/sci fi signing now
