We consume it because we can afford to. I buy things becasue I need them.

Our planet, the one we call Earth, is a living planet, not a dying planet. It continues to thrive, produce natural resources and adapt to change. Hence, Geologists and what they have shown us the changes that the mighty Earth has gone through, yet continues to sustain life.

Listen Mr. Fatalistic, everyone of us here that visits wotmania could live to the age of 125 and the Earth will still continue to adapt and sustain us. In that time, certainly ther will be change, slightly higher sea levels, less tropical forests, different life forms to devour or go to the Zoo and see. By then, maybe that generation will have figured out how to save the Earth.

Humans ar adept to change also. We are a migratory species, and we will make the move when it is neccesary. It's not going to be like you wake up one morning floating around on your bed and you live on the 5th floor of an apartment.

Hehe, guess what? Someday, you, my friend, are going to be one of those Ameicans that you detest so.
