Yank your tail? Is this the one your stapled on for better balance? Catriona Sedai - 22/01/2003 02:29:47 PM

Being one of the country folk myself, we have a well. Unfortunately, it's not very deep and the watershed we draw from gets a lot of the chemicals used on the orchards and vineyards in it. So, we have a storage tank also, so we're not constantly pumping. For some reason, the past couple of years that tank and the system as a whole has decided to go insane on us and it keeps nearly emptying. This wouldn't be SO bad, except there's also a lot of iron in our water, and when it hits the air in the tank... For many years our water had a distinct, faint yellow/orange tinge of rust. Yummm... I think it was when we got that Ozone injection to prevent the rust that we started having issues with the water retention. That's just my theory.

So, almost as long as I can recall, we've bought bottled water and only used our own water for bathing and watering plants. We can't go deeper, down where our neighbor's well gooes, because it's freaking expensive to get that drilled.

Maybe someday.
