We are, I am torn on the value of it though

In what way?

not yet, but I will. I wonder how many people will just vote as the Sun tells them though.....

The same can be said of general elections, which is why the whole people are too uneducated on the issue to vote appropriately doesn't wash with me. How many people know enough about defence, or health or education to vote appropriately in a General Election. Some of the comments made by some, such as Niel Kinnock, have been outrageous.
