Re: Isn't Norway an associate member or something of the EU? excalibur - 23/04/2004 12:16:57 AM

yes. we are a member of ... is it EEC? European Economic Cooperation or some such. Sadly. Our government, seeing that we keep saying no, decided to bring us in the backway, and present a fait accomplit afterwards, saying "see, now we do all they say, but we don't get to decide". That is their approach now.

That is going to be Blair's approach in the referendum too.

lol. like that will happen.

Already has

which of my views are those?

The noble ones - nuclear diarmament, environmental ones (we can get a lot lot better with the existing setup but to completely cure it requires a global government I think), poverty, and so on.

I know some of my beliefs can only be settled by a global government with me as dictator, but in the mean time, there is a decided danger in too much power in one nation.

What about me as the global dictator?

You know what some politician said about Germnay after one of the wars: The problem with Germany is that it is too much of it?

I have heard the saying but I cannot remember the exact context.

Well, that applies to the US now.

Not sure I agree with that.
