Sounds grave. I guess you both had your seatbelts on? Spinning around and landing in the ditch is exactly the kind of crash that can turn nasty if you haven´t. I have some professionell knowledge here...

Grave it was, I suppose. And yeah, we had our belts on. She had (key word ) a Nissan Maxima, and it was one of those cars with the automatic seatbelts and all. You can't take it off.

Adrenaline shock. Completely normal behaviour in this situation.
