I'm so sorry that happened to you guys.
The police turn up, we give them the descriptions & even where these people live... they identify them & phone us back - now my boyfriend is really scared, & wont prosecute as it could possibly effect his business (run from his home - he's an accupuncturist) & I am unable to prosecute even the guy that beat me up.

It really makes me wonder why I even bother being so nice & helpful to people, maybe I will stop & think whether I really should get involved with anything next time.
It's so tempting to leave the rest of the world to deal with their own problems, isn't it? I have the feeling you're a bit like me, though-- you just wouldn't be you if you did.
