Wasn't the Hyperion Cantos so good? Everytime I read it, it gives me chills.

Yes, Hyperion is very good, Fall of Hyperion was ok. I haven't read the others. I was a bit dissapointed with Fall of Hyperion since I loved the writing style of the first book and the second felt dull in comparison. I never continued to read the third and fourth books since the story felt complete after the second. Plus, I've heard that the last books changed some parts of the story, which I didn't like to hear.

The books on both of my top 10 lists are, as I stated, not listed in order of best to tenth best books (they're listed as I found them in my bookshelves).
Confused but on a higher level
