1. What dystopian literature have you read?
The Trial - Kafka
Possibility of an Island - Michele Houllenbeq
The Road - Cormac McCarthy
2. Which was your favorite, and why?
The Trial. It's like Kafka had visited the future and witnessed how complicated we (humanity) have made modern life; and how people can have their life turned on its head for no obvious reason.
3. Which was your least favorite, and why?
Possibility of an Island. It was just so bleak, but it was believable - to me, anyway - and that made it a thoroughly depressing read. But, I suppose, such an effect should stand as a testament to the quality and power of Houllenbeq's writing. Though I didn't feel that way at the time.
4. Which did you find most disturbing, and why?
See above, for the same reasons.
5. Do you find it hard to read some dystopian literature because it is so disturbing?
Again - see above.
Don't get too spoilerific in these.
Currently I'm reading Zamyatin's We. Anyone else ever read it? Thoughts?
No, never read it.

The problem with post-apocalyptic stories is that there are so many which are utter crap.
