Especially since I was mostly just agreeing with what you said in the first place.

Not much to add to all that, except that I'm curious to see what you'll think of the series by book seven or eight - some people remain fervent fans, but most seem to feel that despite GotMs weakness and HoC's relative weakness, the first half of the series is the better half by a long shot.
