My apologies to all involved for not participating in the previous discussion. But the next discussion promises to be one of the more "fantastical" of all the Russian Book Club discussions. For those not generally interested in "literature", this is a book club that I think you may find more interesting than some of the other ones. The two stories are both quite short. "The Nose" (Russian: ???) and "The Overcoat" (Russian: ??????) are both available online for free.

And since they are both so short, anyone who generally doesn't like to read things online may find it easier to read. I'm pretty sure they are both available at Project Gutenberg for download. And available as free downloads for your eBook reader. And of course they are both available in paper - usually with some other short stories as well.
So in two weeks we begin discussion of these satirical short shorts. Hope you can join in and contribute to some of the best examples of short stories in all of world literature. And I just want to leave you with this quote when reading these two short stories -
