and I suspect we will find out since it Hollywood will make any movie that will sale.

The real problem with it is there are to many characters and to many small stories. If they broke it up into several movies they could cover the major story lines without to much problem and either ignore or use a narrator to cover the rest. The purest won’t like but then again they never do.
