Here's another quick rundown of what's happening on the discussion boards at RAFO.
From the Management:
- Ben (Nebhead) is working on Premium Account functionality. At the moment he’s adding it to the site, so you might experience some lag and small crashes.
- Have a way with words? Then enter the Read And Find Out slogan competition. The winner will receive some merchandise once the slogan is chosen.
- Quotes of the Moment have been updated, so add your suggestions for great quotes using the form in the sidebar. Or, if you notice mistakes in quotes that are there already, let Rebekah know.
On the Sci-Fi & Fantasy Board:
- Read the Board’s interview with Jim Butcher, bestselling author of The Dresden Files, The Codex Alera, and more. He’s a funny chap, so the interview is great.
- June’s book club is The Gone-Away World by Nick Harkaway. If you’ve read the book then do join with the discussions. And don’t forget that the Russian book club’s next discussion starts on 15 June and is about two of Gogol’s short stories: “The Nose” and “The Overcoat”.
- The Passage by Justin Cronin is the latest big thing in the publishing world. Read Jacob’s excellent review of the book.
