I loved the material aesthetics, I just did not like the storyline. I very much wanted to like it, as it reminded me a lot of Sin City, and I loved that movie. I think another motive for why I detested it so much was that my boyfriend had been trying to force it on me for months, and finally when I had a break in writing my thesis, we watched it and I was like, "really? this is what you wasted 2.5 hours of my time for?"
