I wouldn't buy a book on the strength of either thing. That's when you pull out your Kindle and read something you want to read... or pull out your emergency book, which all serious readers carry about with them.
Yes, I am talking about the situation when you have just finished your emergency book, or (horror of horrors) when you left it at home because you were stupid and took the wrong bag and forgot to repack.
I am with you on emergency books. But I am also not always quite there in my brain when stressed.

Title if I had to choose, but unlikely I'd get an unheard-of book without a blurb. *NM*

Yes it is. And you didn't answer my question. Why won't you just play the game?

Very rarely, and only in the library if that.

Maybe the scenario is hard to imagine but I have picked up some treasures by title alone.

No they don't. I have lost on several gambles. But I have had enough success that I keep trying.

Huh. I suppose, since I have to choose, I'd go for cover. At least it would look pretty.

I was noticing when I went to the public book sale that I am a title person.

Hmm, that's a toughy. It's really a toss of the dice; could go either way. I'd go with cover...

Neither would be the determinant factor for me...
