I hope it's because she's a prude like me. :|

Or it could just be that her High writing style doesn't gel with descriptions of something so basic and vital.

I honestly don't remember much of that at all. I just feel that whenever she writes about sexual tension, it goes downhill fast. She should become a prude if she isn't already.
