He talked about that once, in a blog post or at a signing or something. He said there are 20 slots, and 15 of them are ones you can sign up for. It fills up on a first come first serve, and graduate students get priority. And then there is a random drawing for the other 5 slots. I think the first 15 slots fill up in about 10 minutes (I'm serious), and there are hundreds of entries in the drawing.

That's what I heard anyway.



However, anyone can attend the class, they just won't get their stories read and graded by Sanderson, and they won't get the credit. I think there are usually around 50 people in the classroom.
