I found the first book to be pretty boring through most of it though. Brandon is basically setting the stage for the bigger story that books two and three tell. Keep reading and I'm sure you will find the next two books much more interesting.


For me it was just the opposite. I really liked the story in the first book, the second and third not so much. Not that they were bad, it was just I didn't find them as interesting as the first novel. That being said, the second and third books were better written than the first.
