The former because I'm going to an event tomorrow which he'll be at, so I want to be able to talk about it, and the latter because of the joint book club.

Have already read Dan Rhodes' Gold and Roald Dahl's short story collection Skin this month (or possibly at the very end of last month, can't exactly remember). Enjoyed them both.
