I change as the character changes and what he does. Rand is a good example I liked him early on and then after he changed and did some really stupid things I didn't like him. There are many examples that I have gone through the same thing. I think it is also natural when you are reading it is like being with the people, like being their friends so when the character does something that you think is wrong it should be natural to get angry at that character and your like lessen.
I guess that may be where I differ somewhat. I do consider as being like friends, so yes when they do something wrong I don't necessarily like it, however I don't stop liking them / being their friend because they do some stupid things.
