Female heroine, electrical engineer by trade, smarter than pretty much everyone else in the comic, not hypersexualized or really sexualized at all other than being cute, moves the plot by being smart and capable instead of by being sexy, and has a normal personal life. Oh, and there's awesome blue-skinned aliens (no, really
). The only problem with the series is that pretty much every issue will have some tech talk that goes way over most readers' heads. And that the later issues aren't as good anymore, but then, that usually happens.

Do you have the time to listen to me whine?

Hm. I wish visual media had not-stupid female characters.

Well, I'm not familiar with a British style of comics, if any such thing exists.
