Agree about the Darth Bane books..... trzaska2000 Send a noteboard - 30/08/2009 05:18:17 PM
Definitely agree with the Darth Bane books..... Darth Bane: Path of Destruction, Darth Bane: Rule of Two and the upcoming Darth Bane: Dynasty of Evil.

I've read the first two and both were excellent. The recent problem with the past few SW Series (New Jedi Order and Legacy of the Force) is that the build up has been solid, but the endings have sucked (my opinion). I haven't started the new series, Fate of the Jedi, yet due to my disappointment in the ones I just mentioned.

Others recommendations (to get started):

Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith by Matthew Stover - much better than the movie (more meat and details).....actually the novels of EI and EII are also worth reading

Dark Lord: The Rise of Darth Vader by James Luceno

Outbound Flight by Timothy Zahn (ties into Zahn's original trilogy)
