I take it by "furry" you mean people with stuffed animal fetishes, and by "fundamentalist" you mean religiously conservative. If that is correct, I can think of two reasons I wouldn't read it:

1. I have no interest in stuffed animals, much less a fetish

and

2. I can't stand religious conservatives.

My point was just that my reading interests are already so eclectic (generally) that hardly anything I own would lead someone to say "That's unusual for you".

I'm quite sure there are plenty of books that would be unusual for me to read. On the other hand, I doubt I will ever want to read them. Barring a dare, bet or joke (like Camilla's reading of Hanna Montana), I just don't see it.
