Kate Atkinson? Elaine Send a noteboard - 16/08/2010 02:49:13 PM
We've got a cottage booked, and I'm going to play Cook while Tim, his aunt & uncle and two friends go walk up & down hills. I'll have LOADS of time for reading.

Oooh, what are you cooking? Have you recipe books to bring with you?

Anyway, if you haven't read Kate Atkinson, I'll give a hearty thumbs-up to Behind The Scenes At the Museum. Case Histories is great as well.

I have ordered this one, but not read it. However, my mummy says it's great, so how about The Far Pavilions by M.M. Kaye? It's nice and chunky so should keep you occupied for a while.
