and the main reason I haven't picked up any other Mieville since reading it.


i'd love to be able to convince you to just read the even first 20 pages of perdido street station it is an amazing novel and scar is just as accomplished in scope and imagination


Some tend to hate that opening section.

Although it's not my favorite, The City & The City would be a better title.
